Demeter Presentation: Farming to the Demeter Biodynamic Farm Standard

The Demeter Farm Standard is based on seven principles that comprehensively outline the Biodynamic concept of a farm as a living organism. It is a very practical and agronomic view that has as its roots the very beginning of the sustainable agriculture movement itself. This workshop will cover all the principles, including: biological diversity; on farm fertility; generating disease, insect, and weed control on the farm; biodynamic preparations; on-farm water and waterway conservation; integration of livestock; and gentle post harvesting and handling.
