We are looking to add one hardworking and positive individual to our flower crew this season! We will often work together as a team to complete the daily tasks listed below, but this position will also work in small groups or alone. We typically work 9-hour days Monday-Friday. Our weekly workflow is built around our harvest schedule: Mondays & Tuesdays we harvest for our wholesale outlets, Wednesdays & Fridays we harvest for market, leaving Thursdays and any available afternoons for miscellaneous fieldwork tasks. Work is guaranteed from May through October. Multiple seasons encouraged. During the season we work 40-50 hour weeks Monday through Friday with some rotating weekend work. Compensation is $13/hr.
❏ Harvesting! A lot of harvesting
❏ Fieldwork: planting, weeding, pinching, staking, netting, mulching, spraying, and more
❏ Greenhouse work: sowing, thinning, potting up
❏ Assisting in some floral design
❏ Rotating weekend work: Greenhouse watering, U-Pick events on farm, and occasional wedding flower installations
❏ Preferred 1-3 years experience working on a production farm or a florist’s shop, but no experience required. We will happily train the right person.

Our goal is to support team members in developing and deepening their skills, with opportunities to continue to grow with the farm over many seasons.
