Come join the team! You get to work on a beautiful, certified organic property alongside the Head Gardener who specializes in high quality growing practices of fruits, vegetables and flowers. This candidate will have the opportunity to learn and work on a variety of tasks including floral arranging for events, vegetable and fruit production and estate maintenance. There is never a dull day!
*Maintain beauty/health of plants, garden and grounds
*Plant and harvest fruit, vegetables and flowers. Work alongside head gardener creating floral arrangements.
*Working outdoors in all types of weather and conditions. Working in greenhouse and glasshouse.
*Reliable, punctual, detail-oriented.
*Lift up to 50 lbs. physically fit, do manual labor, able to squat, bend, lift, and do repetitive tasks.
*Harvesting, weeding, deadheading, raking, soil cultivation, digging, mulching, watering, pruning, bed preparation, planting, seed sowing
*Spanish speaking and floral experience helpful.
*Love of outdoors and plant life
Operate ranch carts
*Work with hand tools, garden tools
*High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
*1-2 years of related experience with horticulture knowledge
