Most of us did not grow up harvesting for our next meal or knowing how to recognize the plants that surround us as food or medicine. While the majority of our society is moving at a fast pace, many of us are being called back to a slower, more engaged relationship with the land. We evolved together with the plant world and originally had an intimate knowledge of how to keep our communities healthy and vibrant. When we tap into this knowledge, a deep remembering occurs. In re-engaging and consciously practicing agriculture, we enter a journey of our own cultivation and growth. Through conversation and interactive exercises, we will explore this journey and rediscover our innate wisdom about the plant world and ourselves.
