Resilient Agriculture for a Changing Climate

Sustie winners Nash Huber and Paul Muller will be joined by soil scientist/author Laura Lengnick in this workshop on the climate-resilience benefits of ecological farming practices. They will draw on their own experiences as well as the practical lessons learned by 25 award-winning sustainable farmers and ranchers across the U.S., who are successfully managing novel production risks associated with climate change. Calling upon the latest climate science and resilience thinking, the speakers will explore innovative, ecosystem-based strategies for sustaining agriculture and food systems in our changing climate.
