A coalition of groups is leading a campaign to secure new Farm Bill legislation in support of expanding sustainable, regenerative livestock production. A draft policy framework has been created aimed at improving livestock management practices and generating conservation and climate benefits, increasing economic viability and market opportunities for sustainable livestock producers; and supporting mainstream producers that want to transition to humane and sustainable, regenerative production systems. In this session, we will share highlights from the draft policies, still in development. We want to hear directly from advocates and producers about whether we’re on the right track—and what’s working and what’s not in your farm business. Your feedback will help shape our campaign and policy proposals for the next Farm Bill. Please join us! Hosted by Friends of the Earth and National Sustainable Agriculture Coalition.
