This workshop will explore ways to broaden the ecological farming and food movement. People of color are the fastest-growing population of both American voters and farming communities, and in California, farmers and farmworkers from diverse ethnic backgrounds are leaders in many efforts, and represent the future of sustainable agriculture. The speakers and participants in this session will share approaches to ensure that the movement is truly multicultural, multilingual and inclusive, and reaches and empowers the largest and most diverse possible audience.
