The Federal government always has something going on that is relevant to organic farmers. The National Organic Standards Board (NOSB) is still functioning to advise the USDA on various topics and this workshop is a chance to hear from them about what they and the National Organic Program are working on. The new Farm Bill has some big wins for organic, and there is plenty to discuss about what is in it, and how it might be implemented. This and other news from DC will be covered by an activist on the front lines of the Farm Bill skirmish.
