EcoFarm Celebrates the History of West Coast Organic Farming in the 1960s–1970s: Part I

This fun and refreshing look-back features many of the pioneers of organic agriculture in California. They will regale us with tales of what happened in the 1960s and 70s. We need to hear these stories because the history of organic farming —as promoted by the powers that be—is inaccurate at best, and downright ridiculous at worst. Listen to this hardy crew of hippies, rebels, and independent thinkers, who will set the record straight. They’ll tell us what took place back in the day, why they took those forks in the road, what happened next, and what they think of the current situation. Two back-to-back roundtable sessions will offer plenty of audience participation to balance out the opinions of the speakers.
