This workshop will examine the underlying challenges and opportunities for advancing social justice through funding and practice in sustainable agriculture. Attendees will explore the limits and opportunities of funding social justice efforts and will walk away with new ideas to apply, from the field to the funders’ quests. Building on best practices and current analysis, this session will encourage a dynamic discussion, including brief presentations from participants, to give everyone an opportunity to contribute to the ongoing work of fostering a more just and sustainable food system.
