A significantly decreased number of farm workers combined with increased wages for labor has put a severe crimp in the production of high-labor crops grown in California and the U.S. This session will focus on creative strategies employed by farmers in a difficult time. Discussion will include farm worker housing projects and the H-2A guest worker program, worker incentives, loans, health insurance, and other aspects of good labor practices that will attract and keep your labor force.
