Go Native: Farms Reap the Benefit of Indigenous Species

Learn about the role of native plants on the farm and in surrounding ecosystems, and how to integrate them into the farm. Native plants are uniquely adapted to local conditions. They are more drought-resistant, pest-resistant, and supportive of beneficial organisms than are non-native plants. Areas with native plants provide the most important contribution to biodiversity.
