Farmland is disappearing, fast. Luckily, land trusts increasingly use agricultural conservation easements to address this pressing issue. Our panelists will describe a wide range of possibilities – from easements that simply recognize agricultural values and prevent incompatible development, to easements that prioritize specific farming practices and ensure continued farming on the property.
